This page explains what BidSH.IT, the Bid Search Hub, collects and what happens to it. The short version: the board is public by design, we collect what it takes to run it, and we do not sell your information.
When you verify your email we store the address and its domain. When you post a project or join one as a bidder we store what you type: the project details, your company name, your name and phone number if you add them, and any links you share. We also keep technical records such as your IP address, a rough location provided by our hosting network, and counts of your requests. Those exist to stop spam and abuse and to enforce the board's rate limits.
The board is public. Project details, company names, the scopes each company is pursuing, shared links, and bid dates can be seen by anyone. Contact names, email addresses, and phone numbers appear on the live board, and they are deliberately left off the pages built for search engines so they are harder to harvest in bulk.
We do not run ad trackers. After you verify a code, your browser keeps a signed token for up to 30 days so you do not have to verify again just to browse or bid. The "Forget this device" button in the header clears it.
The site runs on Cloudflare, which also provides the CAPTCHA check (Turnstile) used before codes are emailed. The 6-digit codes are delivered by an email sending service. These providers process data only to deliver those functions.
Verification codes live for minutes and are deleted when used. Rate-limit records expire with their time windows. Listings are removed about 60 days after their bid date passes, along with the bidder and contact details attached to them.
If you want a listing corrected or removed, or you want your contact details taken off the board, email support@bidsh.it from the address in question and we will sort it out.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
